A note answers: what did I understand, notice, or want to remember?
That can be a technical detail, a design observation, a tool, a mistake, a short lesson. Notes can be tiny. Not every useful thought needs to become an essay.
Essays are for ideas that need space. They should not pretend to be universal truths when they are personal observations.
